1. Copyright

All works of visual art (paintings, drawings, sketches), photographic reproductions thereof, texts, design, and other materials published on art-nosov.ru are the results of intellectual activity and are protected by copyright under Part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, and other international agreements.

Copyright in the works arises by virtue of their creation and does not require registration or compliance with any formalities (Article 1259 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).

2. Terms of Use

Without the prior written consent of the Author, the following is prohibited:

copying, reproducing, or downloading images of the works in any format or resolution;
distributing, publishing, or transmitting images of the works to third parties (including on social media, third-party websites, or in print publications);
modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works based on the materials published on this website;
using images of the works for commercial purposes, including printing on merchandise, advertising, or design;
using website materials for training artificial intelligence (machine learning) systems, including but not limited to: parsing, scraping, data mining, or building training datasets.

3. Permitted Use

The following is permitted without the Author's consent, provided that the author's name (Nikolay Nosov) and a link to art-nosov.ru are credited:

quotation for informational, academic, educational, or cultural purposes, to the extent justified by the purpose of the quotation (Article 1274 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation);
sharing a link to art-nosov.ru.

4. Purchase of Original Works

The purchase of an original work does not transfer exclusive copyright to the buyer (Article 1291 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). The buyer may display the purchased work but may not reproduce or distribute images of it without the Author's consent.

5. Liability for Infringement

Unauthorized use of the works entails civil liability in the form of compensation ranging from 10,000 to 5,000,000 Russian rubles per instance of infringement (Article 1301 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation), as well as criminal liability (Article 146 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The Author reserves the right to contact the administrators of internet platforms and hosting providers to request the removal of illegally published copies of the works.
